What Is the Broadcast Log? #

The Broadcast Log is the history page for all WhatsApp broadcast campaigns created in Bridgo.

You can use it to track:

  • Broadcast ID
  • Campaign name
  • Broadcast type
  • Broadcast status
  • Number of recipients
  • Template category
  • Template header
  • Template name
  • Created date
  • Scheduled send time
  • Campaign report and results

To open it:

Go to Broadcast → Broadcast log

Broadcast Log Statuses

Each broadcast has one status.

  • Draft: The broadcast was saved but not submitted.
  • Awaiting: The broadcast was submitted and is waiting to start. This is common for scheduled broadcasts.
  • In Progress: Bridgo is currently sending the broadcast.
  • Completed: The broadcast has finished sending.
  • Cancelled: The broadcast was cancelled before completion.
  • Failed: The broadcast failed during processing.

Step 1: Review the Broadcast Log Table #

The table includes these columns:

Broadcast ID: The unique ID for the campaign.
Broadcast Type: Shows whether the campaign was Immediate or Scheduled.
Broadcast Status: Shows the current status.
Campaign Name: The name entered when creating the broadcast.
Number of Recipients: The selected maximum audience count.
Template Details: Shows template category, header type, and template name.
Date Created: Shows when the broadcast was created.
Options: Shows actions available for the broadcast.

If the broadcast is scheduled, the Broadcast Type column also displays the scheduled date and time under the type.

Step 2: Create a New Broadcast #

From the top-right of the Broadcast Log page, click New Broadcast.

This opens the New Broadcast page, where you can create a new campaign, choose a template, select a target audience, send a test, save as a draft, or submit the campaign.

Step 3: Search by Template Name #

Use the search box in the top-right area to search broadcasts by Template Name.

Enter the template name and click the search icon.

If you clear the search field, Bridgo automatically refreshes the list.

Use this when you know which WhatsApp template was used but do not remember the campaign name or broadcast ID.

Step 4: Use Advanced Filters #

Click the filter button to open the Search modal.

You can filter broadcasts by:

  • Date Created From
  • Date Created To
  • Broadcast Type
  • Broadcast Status
  • Template Category
  • Template Header
  • Gender
  • Customer Language

After selecting your filters, click Search.

Bridgo will refresh the broadcast list and show only matching records.

Step 5: Clear Filters #

If filters are applied, Bridgo displays a clear filter button next to the search and export controls.

Click the clear filter button to return to the full Broadcast Log list.

You can also clear filters from inside the Search modal.

Step 6: Export Broadcast Logs #

Click Export to download the current filtered broadcast log as an Excel file.

The exported file includes:

Log ID
Broadcast ID
Broadcast Type
Broadcast Status
Broadcast Schedule DateTime
Broadcast Start DateTime
Broadcast End DateTime
Template Category
Template Header
Template Name

⚠️ Important: Export uses the current filters. If you filtered by status, date range, template type, language, or gender, the exported file will contain only those matching records.

The file name will start with:

BroadcastLog_

Step 7: Understand the Action Icons #

The options column shows different actions depending on the broadcast status and your permissions.

  • Clone Broadcast: Creates a copy of the broadcast as a new draft.
  • Edit Broadcast: Opens a draft broadcast for editing.
  • Delete: Deletes a draft broadcast log.
  • View Report: Opens the campaign report.
  • Cancel Broadcast: Cancels an awaiting or in-progress broadcast.

Some actions only appear for specific statuses.

For Draft broadcasts:

  1. Clone
  2. Edit
  3. Delete

For Awaiting broadcasts:

  1. Clone
  2. Cancel

For In Progress broadcasts:

  1. Clone
  2. Cancel

For Completed broadcasts:

  1. Clone
  2. View Report

For Cancelled broadcasts:

  1. Clone

For failed broadcasts:

  1. Clone
  2. View Report

Step 8: Clone a Broadcast #

Click the Clone Broadcast icon to duplicate an existing campaign.

Bridgo creates a new draft based on the selected broadcast.

Use Clone Broadcast when you want to reuse:

  • The same template
  • The same audience filters
  • The same media or link
  • The same campaign setup
  • The same template variables

After cloning, open the new draft, review all details, update the campaign name, and test again before submitting.

Step 9: Edit a Draft Broadcast #

If the broadcast status is Draft, click the Edit icon.

Bridgo opens the New Broadcast page with the saved campaign details already filled in.

You can update:

  • Campaign name
  • Broadcast type
  • Schedule date and time
  • Template category
  • Template header
  • Template name
  • Media or link URL
  • Template variables
  • Target audience
  • Advanced filters
  • Marketing options

After editing, you can save it again as a draft, send a test, or submit the broadcast.

Step 10: Delete a Draft Broadcast #

If the broadcast status is Draft, click the Delete icon.

A confirmation message appears:

Are you sure you want to delete this Broadcast?

Click Delete to confirm.

⚠️ Important: Delete is intended for draft records. Once deleted, the draft is removed from the Broadcast Log.

Step 11: Cancel a Broadcast #

If the broadcast status is Awaiting or In Progress, click the Cancel Broadcast icon.

A confirmation message appears:

Are you sure you want to cancel this Broadcast?

Click Cancel This Broadcast to confirm.

For scheduled campaigns, Bridgo cancels the background job. If an admin reminder email was scheduled, Bridgo cancels that reminder job as well.

⚠️ Important: If a broadcast is already in progress, some messages may already have been sent before the cancellation is completed.

Step 12: Open the Broadcast Report #

For completed or failed broadcasts, click View Report.

The report page shows performance details such as:

  • Total broadcast message count
  • Mobile numbers not registered
  • Sent messages
  • Delivered messages
  • Read messages
  • Skipped messages
  • Broadcast status
  • Read timeline data

Use this report to understand delivery and engagement after the broadcast has finished.

Step 13: Use Pagination #

If you have many broadcast records, use the pagination controls at the bottom of the page.

When you change pages, Bridgo keeps your current filters and search values.

This helps you review a large broadcast history without losing your filter settings.

Best Practices

  • Use clear campaign names so broadcasts are easy to find later.
  • Filter by date range when reviewing monthly or weekly activity.
  • Use Export before deleting draft records if you need an audit trail.
  • Clone successful campaigns instead of rebuilding them from scratch.
  • Always review cloned broadcasts before submitting them again.
  • Cancel scheduled campaigns as early as possible if the message should not be sent.
  • Open the report after completion to check sent, delivered, read, skipped, and failed results.
