🤖 Automation Insights: Transactionals and Auto Replies Dashboard
This guide explains how to use the Automation Insights dashboard in Bridgo to monitor transactional automations, auto replies, template usage, media health, and automation performance.
⏱️ Average time: 3-5 minutes
👤 Who is this guide for: Admins, automation managers, support managers, and technical users who manage WhatsApp automations
📌 What Is the Automation Insights Dashboard? #
The Automation Insights dashboard gives you a summary of your automated WhatsApp messaging setup.
It helps you monitor:
- Transactional templates
- Active and disabled automations
- Auto replies
- Template header usage
- Media usage
- Media expiry health
- Most used transactionals
- Most triggered auto replies
To open it:
➡️ Go to Dashboards → Automation Insights
⚠️ Note: This dashboard is available only on supported subscription plans. If your plan does not include dashboards, Bridgo will ask you to upgrade.
🔄 Step 1: Refresh the Dashboard #
Click Refresh at the top-right of the page to reload the dashboard.
The refresh updates:
- Transactional KPI cards
- Transactional charts
- Auto reply KPI cards
- Auto reply charts
Bridgo also refreshes the transactional dashboard automatically every 120 seconds.
🧾 Step 2: Review Transactional Automation KPIs #
The first section is Automation Insights – Transactionals.
This section monitors transactional templates used by APIs, integrations, WooCommerce, Zapier, and other automated workflows.
Total Transactionals #
Shows the total number of transactional automation records configured in Bridgo.
Active #
Shows transactionals currently enabled and available to trigger.
Disabled #
Shows transactionals that exist but are currently inactive.
Disabled transactionals will not be used for sending until they are activated again.
With Media #
Shows transactionals that use attached media.
This is useful for tracking automations that depend on uploaded images, videos, or documents.
Near Expiry Media #
Shows transactionals using media that is close to expiry.
⚠️ Important: If media expires, automations that depend on it may fail or send incorrectly.
Expired Media #
Shows transactionals using media that has already expired.
Expired media should be replaced or renewed as soon as possible.
🧩 Step 3: Review Transactional Template Headers Breakdown #
The Template Headers Breakdown chart shows which template header types are used by your transactionals.
Header types may include:
- TEXT
- IMAGE
- DOCUMENT
- VIDEO
- LOCATION
- FLOW
Use this chart to understand what kind of templates your automated notifications depend on.
For example:
- A high number of IMAGE or DOCUMENT templates means media health is important.
- A high number of TEXT templates means fewer media expiry risks.
- FLOW templates may indicate customer journeys or structured interactions.
✅ Step 4: Review Transactional Status Breakdown #
The Status Breakdown chart shows transactionals by status.
It compares:
- Active
- Disabled
Use this chart to quickly confirm whether most of your transactional automations are enabled.
If many important transactionals are disabled, automated notifications may not be sent.
🏆 Step 5: Review Most Used Transactionals #
The Most Used Transactionals chart shows the top 10 transactionals by used count.
Each bar represents a transactional automation.
Use this chart to identify:
- Which transactionals are triggered most often
- Which API notifications are heavily used
- Which integrations rely most on transactional templates
- Which automations need extra monitoring
If a high-usage transactional uses media, check the media expiry KPIs regularly.
💬 Step 6: Review Auto Replies Insights #
The second section is Auto Replies Insights.
This section monitors keyword-based and template-based auto replies.
Auto replies are used to automatically respond when customers send specific messages or match configured conditions.
🧮 Step 7: Review Auto Reply KPIs #
The Auto Replies KPI row shows the health and status of your auto reply setup.
Total Auto Replies #
Shows the total number of auto reply records configured in Bridgo.
Active #
Shows auto replies currently enabled.
Disabled #
Shows auto replies that are inactive.
Disabled auto replies will not respond to customers.
With Media #
Shows auto replies that include media.
Near Expiry Media #
Shows auto replies using media that is close to expiry.
Expired Media #
Shows auto replies using expired media.
⚠️ Important: Auto replies with expired media may stop working as expected. Replace or renew expired media to keep customer responses running smoothly.
🧩 Step 8: Review Auto Reply Template Header Breakdown #
The Template Header Breakdown chart shows which template header types are used by auto replies.
This helps you understand whether your auto replies are mostly:
- Text-based
- Image-based
- Document-based
- Video-based
- Flow-based
- Location-based
Use this chart with the media expiry KPIs to identify risk.
For example, if many auto replies use IMAGE or DOCUMENT headers, expired media can affect many customer responses.
✅ Step 9: Review Auto Reply Status Breakdown #
The Status Breakdown chart shows how many auto replies are active or disabled.
Use it to confirm that important automated responses are enabled.
If an expected auto reply is not responding to customers, check whether it is disabled.
🏆 Step 10: Review Most Triggered Auto Replies #
The Most Triggered Auto Replies chart shows auto replies with the highest used count.
Use this chart to identify:
- Most common customer questions
- Frequently triggered keywords
- High-impact automated responses
- Auto replies that may need content updates
- Auto replies that are important to keep active
If one auto reply is triggered very often, review its message regularly to make sure it is accurate and helpful.
