📌 What Is the CTWA Referral Insights Dashboard? #

The CTWA Referral Insights dashboard helps you understand where WhatsApp conversations are coming from when customers click ads, posts, stories, or other referral sources.

CTWA means Click-to-WhatsApp.

This dashboard helps you monitor:

  • Total referral traffic

  • Unique CTWA IDs
  • Referrals with media
  • Referrals without media
  • Image click-throughs
  • Source type performance
  • Referral traffic over time
  • Top headlines
  • Top CTWA IDs
  • Top source URLs and landing links

To open it:

➡️ Go to Dashboards → CTWA Referral Insights

⚠️ Note: This dashboard is available only on supported subscription plans. If your plan does not include dashboards, Bridgo will ask you to upgrade.

📅 Step 1: Select a Date Range #

At the top-right of the dashboard, you can choose the reporting period.

Available quick date options include:

  • Today
  • Yesterday
  • Last 7 days
  • Last 28 days
  • Last 90 days

  • Last month

You can also use the manual date fields:

After changing the date range, Bridgo refreshes the dashboard data.

The refresh updates:

Total Referrals #

Shows the total number of CTWA referral records captured by Bridgo.

Use this to measure total traffic coming from Click-to-WhatsApp sources.

Source URLs #

Shows how many source URLs generated referral traffic.

A higher number means traffic is coming from multiple links, ads, posts, or landing sources.

Unique CTWA IDs #

Shows the number of unique Click-to-WhatsApp IDs detected.

Use this to understand how many distinct CTWA campaigns or source identifiers are generating conversations.

With Media #

Shows referrals that include media information.

This can indicate that the referral came from an ad or content item with attached media.

Without Media #

Shows referrals that did not include media information.

Image Click-throughs #

Shows referrals associated with image-based click-through activity.

Use this to understand how visual content is contributing to WhatsApp conversation starts.

🧩 Step 4: Review Source Type Breakdown #

The Source Type Breakdown chart shows referral traffic by source type.

Source types may include:

  • ad
  • post
  • story
  • other sources

Use this chart to understand which type of content is driving WhatsApp conversations.

For example:

  • If ad is highest, paid campaigns are driving most traffic.
  • If post is highest, organic content may be generating strong engagement.
  • If story is highest, short-lived story content may be performing well.

📈 Step 5: Review Referral Traffic Over Time #

The Referral Traffic Over Time chart shows daily referral volume.

Use this chart to identify:

  • High-traffic days
  • Campaign launch impact
  • Traffic spikes after ads or posts
  • Drops in referral activity
  • Long-term CTWA trends

This chart is useful for comparing referral traffic before and after campaign changes.

📰 Step 6: Review Top 10 Headlines #

The Top 10 Headlines chart shows the most frequent ad or post headlines found in referral data.

Use this chart to identify which headlines are generating the most WhatsApp starts.

This helps marketing teams understand:

  • Which message hooks are working
  • Which ad creatives are attracting clicks
  • Which campaigns should be repeated or improved
  • Which headlines should be tested further

If a headline appears often, review its campaign performance and customer conversations.

🆔 Step 7: Review Top 10 CTWA IDs #

The Top 10 CTWA IDs chart shows the most frequent Click-to-WhatsApp IDs.

Use this chart to identify which CTWA identifiers are generating the most referrals.

This is useful when tracking:

  • Campaign-level performance
  • Ad-level performance
  • Source attribution
  • Repeated clicks from the same CTWA source

If one CTWA ID dominates the chart, it may represent your strongest campaign source.

🔗 Step 8: Review Source URL Breakdown #

The Source URL Breakdown table shows the top 50 most frequent CTWA landing links.

The table includes:

  • Source URL
  • Headline
  • Body
  • Welcome Text
