- Contacts themselves are not deleted.
⚠️ Common Issues #
The group does not appear after creation #
Refresh the Contact Groups list or check whether the group name already exists.
Cannot add contacts #
Possible reasons:
- No contacts are available.
- All contacts are already assigned to the group.
- You did not select any contacts.
- Your user does not have edit permission.
Cannot add agents #
Possible reasons:
- No agents are available.
- All agents are already assigned to the group.
- You did not select any agents.
- Your user does not have the required permission.
Delete the removed contacts from the group #
This is expected. Deleting a group unassigns contacts from that group, but does not delete the contacts.
✅ Best Practices #
- Use clear group names that describe the audience.
- Add descriptions when the group’s purpose is not obvious.
- Keep groups focused and easy to reuse for broadcasts.
- Assign agents when a group needs ownership.
- Review member counts before deleting a group.
- Use groups consistently when importing contacts.
