Template status tells you whether a template can be used.
APPROVED #
The template is approved by Meta and can be used in Bridgo.
Approved templates can be used for:
- Broadcasts
- Transactional templates
- Auto replies
- Live chat template sending
- API integrations
Pending #
The template is still under Meta review.
You may need to wait until Meta approves it before using it.
Rejected or Other Status #
If the template is not approved, Bridgo shows it with a warning/error style.
You may need to open it in Meta, review the rejection reason, and update or recreate the template.
🏷️ Step 3: Understand Template Categories #
Templates are grouped by Meta category.
Available categories include:
- Marketing: Offers, promotions, announcements, and campaign messages.
- Utility: Confirmations, updates, reminders, and service notifications.
- Authentication: OTP, verification, and login-related messages.

- TEXT templates do not require uploaded media.
