This guide explains how to use the CTWA Referrals report in Bridgo to review Click-to-WhatsApp referral records, search referral details, filter by date, open source URLs, export referral data, and track where WhatsApp conversations started.

📌 What Is the CTWA Referrals Report? #

CTWA means Click-to-WhatsApp.

The CTWA Referrals report shows detailed referral records captured when customers start a WhatsApp conversation from sources such as:

• Meta ads
• Facebook posts
• Instagram posts
• Stories
• Click-to-WhatsApp campaigns
• Other referral links

To open it:

➡️ Go to WhatsApp Tools → CTWA Report

⚠️ Note: This report is available only on supported subscription plans. If your plan does not include CTWA reports, Bridgo will ask you to upgrade.

✅ Step 1: Review the CTWA Referrals Table #

The report table shows all matching CTWA referral records.

Each row includes:

• Created: The date and time the referral was captured.
• SourceType: The referral source type, such as ad, post, story, or another source.
• SourceId: The source identifier from Meta.
• CtwaClid: The Click-to-WhatsApp click ID.
• Headline: The headline captured from the referral source.
• Body: The body text captured from the referral source.
• Media: The media type associated with the referral.
• SourceUrl: The source or landing URL.

The top of the page also shows the total number of matching referral records.

🔎 Step 2: Search Referral Records #

Use the search box at the top-right of the report.

You can search by:

• SourceId
• CtwaClid
• Body
• Headline

Enter your search text and click the search icon.

Use this when you want to find a specific campaign, ad, click ID, headline, or referral message.

🧰 Step 3: Use Date Filters #

Click the filter button to open the Search modal.

You can filter by:

• Search
• Date From
• Date To

Use Date From and Date To to review referrals from a specific campaign period.

After selecting the filters, click Apply.

🧹 Step 4: Clear Filters #

If filters are applied, Bridgo shows a clear filter button.

Click it to remove the current search and date filters and return to the full CTWA referral list.

🔗 Step 5: Open the Source URL #

Each referral row includes a SourceUrl.

Click the SourceUrl to open it in a new browser tab.

Use this to inspect the original referral source, landing link, ad URL, or related campaign destination.

📤 Step 6: Export CTWA Referrals #

Click Export to download the current filtered CTWA referral records as an Excel file.

The export includes:

• ReferralID
• WABA
• PhoneNumberID
• SourceType
• SourceId
• CTWAClid
• Headline
• Body
• MediaType
• SourceUrl
• ImageUrl
• WelcomeText
• CreatedDate

⚠️ Important: Export uses the current search and date filters. If you searched or filtered by date, the Excel file will include only matching records.

The exported file name starts with:

CRWA_Referrals_

📄 Step 7: Use Pagination #

If you have many referral records, use the pagination controls at the bottom of the page.

When you move between pages, Bridgo keeps your current search and filter values.

This helps you review large CTWA history without losing your search context.

🧭 Step 8: Use CTWA Report With Other Pages #

The CTWA Report gives record-level referral details.

For deeper analysis, use it together with:

• CTWA Referral Insights: To view charts, trends, top headlines, CTWA IDs, and source URLs.
• Conversation Log: To review individual messages connected to CTWA activity.
• Live Chat: To continue conversations started from CTWA sources.
• Contact Insights: To understand contacts created from referral traffic.
• Broadcast Campaigns: To follow up with contacts acquired from CTWA campaigns.

🧪 Common Use Cases #

Find a specific CTWA click ID #

• Enter the CtwaClid in the search box.
• Click Search.
• Review the matching referral record.

Review campaign referrals by date #

• Open the filter modal.
• Select Date From and Date To.
• Click Apply.
• Export the results if needed.

Check which headline generated a conversation #

• Search by headline text.
• Review SourceType, SourceId, Body, and SourceUrl.

Export referral records for reporting #

• Apply search or date filters.
• Click Export.
• Open the Excel file.

Inspect the source link #

• Find the referral row.
• Click SourceUrl.
• Review the linked source or landing page.
