📌 What Is the Messaging & Conversations Overview? #

The Messaging & Conversations Overview dashboard gives you a real-time summary of your WhatsApp communication activity.

It helps you monitor:

  • Total WhatsApp messages
  • Incoming customer messages
  • Outgoing messages
  • Broadcast messages
  • Sent messages
  • Delivered messages
  • Read messages
  • Failed messages
  • Skipped messages
  • Daily message trends
  • Recent broadcast performance
  • Broadcast audience size

To open it:

➡️ Go to Dashboards → Messaging Insights

⚠️ Note: This dashboard is available only on supported subscription plans. If your plan does not include dashboards, Bridgo will ask you to upgrade.

📅 Step 1: Select a Date Range #

At the top-right of the dashboard, you can choose the reporting period.

Available quick date options include:

  • Today
  • Yesterday
  • Last 7 days
  • Last 28 days
  • Last 90 days
  • This month
  • Last month

You can also use the manual date fields:

  • Start Date
  • End Date

After changing the date range, Bridgo refreshes the dashboard data.

If the selected end date is today, the dashboard auto-refreshes every 60 seconds to keep the numbers updated.

🔄 Step 2: Refresh the Dashboard #

Click the refresh button to reload all dashboard data.

The refresh updates:

  • KPI cards
  • Daily messages chart
  • Conversation breakdown chart
  • Recent broadcast performance chart

Use refresh when you recently sent a campaign or want to check the latest delivery status.

🧮 Step 3: Review the Main Messaging KPIs #

The first row shows the main WhatsApp message totals for the selected date range.

Total Messages (In/Out) #

Shows the total number of messages tracked by Bridgo during the selected period.

This includes incoming and outgoing WhatsApp activity.

Sent #

Shows messages successfully sent from Bridgo to WhatsApp.

Delivered #

Shows messages delivered to the recipient device.

Read #

Shows messages opened or read by recipients.

Skipped #

Shows messages that were skipped and not sent.

This may happen when a customer is excluded by audience rules, limits, or sending conditions.

Failed #

Shows messages that failed to send or failed through WhatsApp delivery processing.

Use this number to identify possible delivery, template, phone number, or API issues.

Broadcast Messages #

Shows the number of messages related to broadcast campaigns.

Received Messages #

Shows messages received from customers.

📈 Step 4: Review the Daily Messages Trend #

The Daily Messages Trend chart shows WhatsApp activity by day.

It compares:

  • Incoming
  • Outgoing
  • Broadcasting

Use this chart to understand message volume over time.

This helps you answer questions such as:

  • Which days had the highest traffic?
  • Did customer replies increase after a broadcast?
  • Are outgoing messages increasing or decreasing?
  • Are broadcasts creating spikes in conversation volume?

🍩 Step 5: Review the Conversation Breakdown #

The Conversation Breakdown chart shows the split between message sources.

It includes:

  • Incoming
  • Outgoing
  • Broadcasting

Below the chart, Bridgo also shows the total count for each category.

Incoming #

Messages received from customers.

Outgoing #

Messages sent from Bridgo outside broadcast counting.

Broadcasting #

Messages sent as part of broadcast activity.

Use this section to quickly understand whether your account is mostly receiving conversations, sending one-to-one messages, or sending campaign messages.

📣 Step 6: Review Recent Broadcast Performance #

The Recent Broadcast Performance chart shows message count per broadcast campaign.

Each bar represents a broadcast campaign.

The chart uses the campaign name when available. If no campaign name is available, it may show the broadcast ID.

Use this chart to compare campaign size and activity.

It helps you identify:

  • Which broadcasts reached the largest audience
  • Which campaigns generated the most message activity
  • Whether broadcast volume is increasing
  • Which campaigns may need deeper review in Broadcast Log

👥 Step 7: Review Broadcast KPIs #

Beside the Recent Broadcast Performance chart, Bridgo shows two broadcast summary cards.

Total Broadcasts Sent #

Shows how many broadcast campaigns are included in the selected date range.

Broadcast Audience #

Shows the total message count/audience volume from the included broadcasts.

Use these numbers to understand how much campaign activity happened during the selected period.

🧭 Step 8: Use the Dashboard With Other Reports #

The Messaging & Conversations Overview is designed as a high-level monitoring dashboard.

For deeper investigation, use it together with:

  • Broadcast Log: To review campaign status, schedule, audience, and reports.
  • Conversation Log: To inspect individual message records, failed reasons, delivery status, and customer history.
  • Live Chat: To continue conversations with customers who replied.
